Liverpool 1 Burnley 0

Dani Pacheco hit an injury time free kick to give the Reds maximum points over Burnley reserves. It was a deserved win for the Reds who dominated the match throughout.

Burnley had first team manager Owen Coyle in their side and he gave the Reds something different to contend with as someone who has been around the game for a while.

Burnley finished the game with ten men after Nikolaus Kudiersky was sent off with five minutes to go. It was then in stoppage time at the end of the match when Pacheco hit a superb free kick to secure the points.
