Agger on target - Internationals 

International matches continue to happen now and many of the Reds squad are involved as always in the matches. In europe the games are still friendly ones in the build up to the European Championships whilst in South America someworld cup qualifying games are taking place.

June 2nd saw eight Reds in action in total and all the stats are updated as ever in the international section of the site.

Steven Gerrard captained England to victory at Wembley over Belgium. Gerrard played 83 minutes of the game before being replaced by team mate Jordan Henderson who has replaced Frank Lampard in the euro's squad.

Glen Johnson played the full ninety minutes at right back.

Denmark continued their build up to the Euro's with a 2-0 win over Australia. Daniel Agger scored the opening goal of the game from the penalty spot and was later subbed just past the hour mark.

Dirk Kuyt was a second half sub for the Netherlands as they thrashed Northern Ireland 6-0. Kuyt didn't manage to get on the scoresheet though.

Over in South America Argentina easily beat Ecuador 4-0 and Maxi was a late sub in the game. He played the final seven mintues of the match.

Uruguay were held at home 1-1 by Venezuela and striker Luis Suarez played the full ninety minutes but it was hi strike partner Diego Forlan who scored the goal. Sebastien Coates came on for the final thirteen minutes of the match.
