Steven Gerrard has been ruled out until September according to the club.
He has developed an infection in his groin and has been given a course of antibiotics. The club describe it as an ongoing problem and he will stay in hospital for a week before returning to Melwood.
The club statement says he is expected to be available for selection in September. |
